A private link for each recipient
Each recipient receives a personal link associated with the surprise. This link is not published in a public area and lets SURPRIA display only the experience intended for that person.
SURPRIA is designed to create a personal memory without starting your camera or microphone without your knowledge. Here is, in simple terms, how your data and permissions are used.
Each recipient receives a personal link associated with the surprise. This link is not published in a public area and lets SURPRIA display only the experience intended for that person.
SURPRIA asks for your permission before using the camera. Your browser also displays its own access request. Without permission, SURPRIA cannot record your image.
The microphone also requires your permission. SURPRIA uses audio only after you have agreed to its use as part of the reaction video.
Before a reaction can be uploaded, SURPRIA checks the required consents for the camera, microphone and video storage. If one is missing or has been withdrawn, the upload is rejected.
A recorded reaction is linked to the relevant surprise. It is not published on a public SURPRIA page and is not intended to be indexed by search engines.
SURPRIA does not rely only on the buttons shown on screen: the server checks, among other things, link validity, surprise status, required consents, uploaded file type and certain video characteristics before accepting it.
You can refuse requested permissions. Depending on your situation and the data concerned, you may also exercise the rights described in our privacy policy.
